First: Arianna vs. Davida-"Camel Clutched"

This match features the debut of our newest addition to our roster
Davida Kelley. This platinum blond has it out to make a name for
herself from the get go. After a heated negotiation with Chairman Max
Vitelli, Davida is put into a submission match with Cruiserweight
Champ Arianna Blaze. If Davida wins, she gets the title. If she loses,
then she will be put into a match of Vitelli's own choosing. The
catch, the winner must make her opponent submit with a camel
clutch submission hold. We don't want to give away the ending but
Davida was absolutely fierce from the start as she did her best to
make Arianna suffer. Did our Cruiserweight Champ fall to this suicide
blond or did she emerge victoriously?

Second:

Kerri Taylor vs Diana DiMarco-"PWF Extreme Challenge"

Kerri Taylor is furious over her loss to Arianna Blaze for the
Cruiserweight Championship
She demands a rematch which Vitelli cannot give her. However, Max does
offer a title shot and to her surprise,,,it PWF Extreme Champion Diana
DiMarco
This was a custom match that called for the use of using "wedgies" and
submission holds on their opponent in order to win the match. Diana
was her usual self with her trash talking and submission holds while
Kerri did everything she could to gain the upper hand.
In the end, one opponent bites the other girls legs which causes a
furious beat down
on one hapless opponent. The action towards the end is heated and end
with one girl whimpering in defeat. You are gonna love this one!

Third: Triple V vs Diana DiMarco and Arianna Blaze-"Handicapped or
Triple Threat?"

This match featured another newcomer to the scene-Vicki Von Vanderbilt
(Triple V)

Triple V is stretching out waiting for her first match. In walks Diana
and Arianna demanding a gym fee for Triple V to use the facilities.
When Triple V refuses, it sparks a pre-show fight which is broken up
by Max. Max then calls for a KO match where the winner must be knock
her opponents completely out in order to win. Triple V has the upper
hand in the beginning by using flour as a weapon, and tying both girls
hands and feet while she has her way with them. Diana is the first to
break out and then frees Arianna. Then begins the onslaught of these
two champions having their way with our sexy newcomer. Can Triple V
turn things around
before our lovely champions use her as a throw rug?!! This match is
guaranteed to please one-sided match fans who enjoy watching an
opponent experience a little humility

This Saturday at the Manhattan Center in New York City, Ring of Honor
presents its Sixth Anniversary Show. As part of the historic event,
all of the titles recognized by ROH will be on the line!

Sara Del Rey became the first SHIMMER Champion on June 2, 2007 by
defeating Lacey in the finals of a sixteen woman tournament held in
suburban Chicago. Along with Sara and Lacey, the semi-finals of the
tournament included "Dark Angel" Sarah Stock and Daizee Haze. In the
time since winning the belt, Del Rey has since defended the title
against both Lacey and Stock, but The Haze has yet to receive a title
match.

The rivalry between Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze dates back to the
main events of SHIMMER Volumes 2 and 3. Daizee and Sara were the last
two wrestlers in a four way elimination match on Volume 2, which saw
Death Rey pin The Haze following the Royal Butterfly. The Volume 3
main event was a singles contest between the two, which saw Sara yet
again pin Daizee's shoulders to the mat, with a bridging German
suplex.

Though Del Rey and Haze haven't met in SHIMMER competition since
Volume 3, their athletic rivalry has continued on in ROH rings across
the circuit. The two first met in ROH competition at Destiny during
June of 2006, in a match which saw Sara pick up the victory. They
were on opposite sides of a tag team contest at Fifth Year Festival:
NYC in February of 2007, where the Daizee's feud against Lacey caused
her to brawl to the locker room, leaving her tag team partner Alexa
Thatcher to face two women by herself and ultimately lose the match.

While Daizee's long running war against Lacey was perhaps her biggest
focus in ROH (a feud based on pure hatred), she never forgot about
Sara Del Rey and the true challenge of going hold for hold, move for
move against her in technical wrestling battles.

Despite Daizee's inability to pull out a victory against Del Rey for
a full year in either SHIMMER or ROH competition, The Haze showed her
heart and determination by finally scoring a pinfall on Sara at This
Means War II in Long Island during April of 2007.

At ROH's first PPV taping Respect Is Earned in May of 2007, Daizee
and Sara had the honor of appearing on the card in one of the bonus
matches for the DVD release of the event. Sara was able to avenge her
This Means War II loss by defeating The Haze in Manhattan. The two
were also on opposite sides of a dream partner tag team match on the
Man Up DVD bonus matches during September of 2007 in Chicago, as
Daizee and Amazing Kong downed Sara and Lacey.

ROH's third PPV, Undeniable in October of 2007, saw history made as
Del Rey and Haze were featured in the first women's bout on ROH PPV!
The impromptu match was put together by Del Rey's agent Larry Sweeney
just moments before it took place, and as a result the SHIMMER
Championship was not at stake. The match came to a conclusion when
Del Rey was distracted by Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero brawling
at ringside, leaving Daizee with the opening to score a surprising
rollup and earn the pinfall victory on PPV!

The Haze has proven she can pin Sara Del Rey on more than one
occasion, and this Saturday night in NYC, Daizee gets her first shot
at Sara Del Rey's SHIMMER Championship! Both Sara Del Rey and Daizee
Haze have been integral parts of both the ROH and SHIMMER rosters for
several years now, bringing the best athletic women's wrestling
action each and every time. Will Daizee be able to defeat Sara again
this Saturday night, this time with the title on the line, or will
Del Rey be successful in her fifth defense of the SHIMMER
Championship? That question will be answered this Saturday night!

This is one of two shows which will take place over the course of the
day. The WAWW event will begin at 3pm, followed by an evening show at
6:30pm presented by HEW. Tickets are available separately for either

With Destiny vacating her titles due to pregnancy. WAWW European
Ladies Champion Blue Nikita will take on Klondyke Kate for the vacant
WAW/WAWW Ladies World Title. Additionally, a new WWAW British Ladies

participate in a tournament, including Scottish Ladies Champion

I just wanted to pass on this terrific New Fem Fight Video I found at

Wrestling / Fight videos.  They did a magnificent job for there first
time.  Their video called THE SPY TRAP is a battle to the death

CINDY ROGERS WINS 2007 WXW WOMEN'S ELITE 8!

Congratulations to Cindy Rogers on winning the 2007 WXW Women's Elite
8 Tournament this past Saturday in Coplay, PA. WXW, promoted by Afa
The Wild Samoan, has made the Women's Elite 8 Tournament a yearly
tradition for six years now. Cindy defeated Becky Bayless, Hailey
Hatred, and ultimately Annie Social in the finals to win this year's
edition of the tournament.

nominations for The 2007 Indy Divas Awards. All of the details are

At the indy women's wrestling YAHOO! site called Indy Divas, I am
currently accepting nominations in the following categories
(including perhaps a couple of new ones) for the 2007 Indy Divas

possibility of adding a few more categories at the 2007 Indy Divas

That is going to be determined by the majority of votes that the
female indy wrestling personality or personalities of your choice
receives to qualify in the many categories that were listed above at
the 2007 Indy Divas Awards.

Basically, that is the way the proverbial ball bounces.

There are perhaps some of you out there may feel that some of your
favorite female indy wrestling personalities are being either left
out or that are being snubbed once the final tally of accumulated
votes are made in the process of naming official nominees in the
categories at the 2007 Indy Divas Awards.

That is NOT the case here whatsoever. You can be rest assured on that.

I DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT want to hear any whining, crying or
complaining from you or by anybody on here about things such as the
naming of categories, what the true meaning or integrity of the
categories being named are supposed to be, who really should have
been voted in or whom you feel should deserve to be in this category
or that category like some of you did last year.

Please understand, everybody, there are millions upon millions of
females that are managers/valets and/or wrestlers that are a part of
several wrestling events and organizations along the indy wrestling
circuit the entire world over.

There are some ladies that you may go see on a regular or monthly
basis at wrestling shows where you live while there are hundreds upon
thousands of millions that others see on a regular or monthly basis
at wrestling shows all over in other parts of the United States as
well as in other parts of the world.

There are some female indy wrestling personalities out there that you
may immediately recognize just by the mention of their name(s), then
again there are probably some female indy wrestling personalities
that you may have never even heard of before.

Therefore,not every single female along the indy wrestling circuit
will make it,so please be sure to keep that in mind.

Besides, this is all supposed to be for fun, isn't it?

Also, NO BASHING for the ladies that do qualify.

If you do bash any of them in any way, shape, form or fashion, then
you can kiss your membership here at Indy Divas good-bye because as
far as any bashing of any ladies here at Indy Divas that are either
in independent wrestling or on the mainstream level of wrestling is
concerned, it's absolute ZERO TOLERANCE.

Every female that is a part of wrestling deserves the utmost of
respect, regardless as to whom that female may be.

The way it is basically is the way your parents told you probably
when you were younger, which is:

"IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT ANYBODY OR ANYTHING,
DO NOT SAY IT AT ALL"!

Also, for some of our group members, please be advised that your
messages at Indy Divas are moderated, meaning that they are subject
towards final approval.

So, in closing, I would like to ask all of you whom that are fans of
independent women's wrestling to please cast your vote for your
favorite female indy wrestling personalities for the 2007 Indy Divas

It is a sad sad day that we morn the passing of the Greatest woman
wrestler. I have heard the news today and I was shocked. She is going
to be missed. I never got the chance to meet Moolah but I saw her in
matches and in interveiws and such that told of her deeds and what she
did to help womens wrestling. Rest in Peace.
