Hey Gang, Claudia and I saw a most excellant Liondance show by the
Philadephia Sun's Liondance group. I never heard of them before but
it seems they are very big! Bigger the Chueng's Hung Gar academy as
far as media exposure. I've been told they perform at PHillies team
games and such. I happend to notice Eagles stickers on back of one of
the lionheads and COMCAST posted on their banners. Well they were
very enjoyable and they seemed to be having a ball performing as
well. I saw some neat stuff namely the dueling lions skit which was
cool! The firecrackers were deafening! We also saw plenty
of "blessings" of shops and bussiness's. Whacky and cool antics by
the Bigheads. We learned alot from today. Well worth the time spent.
I was sorry to leave for work. This certainly made up for Newyear's
for me which I normally spend working. It really felt like Newyears
again. Looks like I'm a convert to Chinese NewYear! Seems it's
definately a martial artist's day. I saw quite a few familiar faces
and coincidently recieved a phonecall while watching a liondance from
the guy who wants our team to dance at his event in May. Seems he
wants an addtional performance by us for his "Hall of Fame"dinner
banquet as well as his opening ceremony!
