well i just got back from a new years dinner in chinatown downtown NYC.
had a great time even with the rain.
we walked the streets and got to see a bunch of lion dances.
according to our guide (a client of mine hong-kong born architect friend of mine) the varrious martial-arts schools are hired by the local stores to perform at specific times based on the recommendation of a feng-shui master.
lots of streamers all over the streets
happy year of the dog.
enjoy the celebrations

Hey Gang,
I noticed Liondance is getting alot more attention in the
Newspaapaers this year. Either that or is it just me? There will be
Liondance shows in Philly's Chinatown every Sunday until the 12th of
Feb. I plan to go Feb 5th and maybe even the 12th!
Cheers!
Mel
