Do my eyes deceive me? Or do I actually have contact
from the long lost Bexster? How was your NewYear? So
good to hear from you! Yes, the LeiTai is very
intriguing. Ofcourse they have women's divisions. I
nearly entered the division when I first discoverd it
3 years ago but I realised I'd have to devote the
entire tournament to that division only. The bouts run
well past midnight for 2 full days. Injuries are
common because you fight fullcontact and no protective
padding except for the light caged facemask and the
"next to nothing" cobrachop finger gloves, youre not
even allowed to wear boxing handwraps to protect the
knuckles and joints. You fight in light shoes or
sneakers. In Sanshou/Sanda you wear regulation boxing
gloves/headgear and karate style kicking boots and
even a chestguard like the TKD people wear.
Cheers!
