Ha, 75 starters and 728 finishers.. and here i was thinking that the correct
number should be 72.8 finishers, representing 2 people that were smart enough
to drop out before frost bite took their feet like the unfortunate .8
finisher...

Seriously, the true highlight of this week's 10k was not the frigid temps
(those are expected and normal in January) but the finishing time of Katie
Aldridge, who finished 2nd overall in a truly amazing time of 34:22--not only is
this one of the fastest 10k times posted by a female in this area in perhaps a
decade, but in sub freezing temperatures as well!~! WOW.

Thank you to the entire finish line crew and Tom Hamlin for putting this
annual January FREEZE event on for the club.
