Just another reminder about the Annual Dinner but also wanted to
include a couple of things.
Donna & Phil Russell have a nephew, Andrew Russell, in Afghanistan.
He is on Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan and all the troops over there
could use a care package from us. I asked Donna if it was ok to ask
TCRC members to bring something to the dinner as I plan to mail out
a package next week. Follows is the e-mail he sent Donna noting the
most needed things for the troops:
I asked some of the soldiers and the females said they need lotion
and if possible cocoa butter because the water dries out the skin
with all of the chlorine used for disinfectant, on that same note i
think moisturizing body wash would be used. Baked goods make it here
OK, my wife sent me two boxes of GS cookies, but hard candy,
twizzlers and gummy bears are also popularitems. Most of the usual
care package items are available here, such asbaby wipes and other
personal hygiene items. Books, magazines and puzzles are also
welcome. Thanks for thinking of us.
Love, Andrew

Also Tom Carter asked that I let everyone know Suzanne Girard-
Eberle will have her book for sale and can take cash or check but
cannot take any charge cards.
If you haven't gotten your reservation into me yet let me know
you're coming.
Thanks
