I would like to thank all the runners and volunteers who were at the
St. Patrick's Day 4 Miler on Saturday. The great weather led to a
record turnout of 455 runners. While this made for a great race, the
number of runners also led to a few miscues on our part. I'd like to
apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to do the awards
after the race. We wanted to make sure that the results were as
accurate as possible before doing that. Thanks to all of you who
helped us straighten out the errors, including many runners who
brought them to our attention. A big thanks to George Groome, Diane
Macko, Grace Tabeek, and Barney Taylor for sifting through
everything and getting the results done.
Now, on to the congratulations for the runners. Patrick Murphy and
Annette Acuff were the overall winners with Annette setting a new
women's record of 23:23. Gary Fancher and Suzy Myette were the
Masters winners. I will contact all the winners listed below to
arrange to get them their awards.
