This sounds great! I'll have to join you all in a month or so though as I had surgery on my foot last week and am about to go crazy! I have discovered that I can peddle the recumbant bike at the gym for a bit though!!  Where there is will.....there is way!
Miss you all!

Subject: [trigirls] Think Spring!

  Hi Ladies

The lovely sleet and freezing rain weather today has inspired me to try to plan for nicer days ahead.  I'd like to start a weekly run on Sundays starting next weekend, March 2nd.  We'll meet  at Centennial Park (the main pavillion) at 11:00.  Depending on people's preferences, we can run the Iron Girl loop or Columbia (maybe have a group do each). Of course the run wlll be for two weeks and then spring break may dispupt things, but hopefully we can start a routine that could catch on.  There'a always the trail runs earlier, but thought this could be an option for those of us leary of tree roots, mud, early mornings and running for 3 hours straight.

Sadj also had a great idea to get together for an apparel/gear swap.  So, dig in your closets/garage and anything that doesn't get swapped, we thought could be donated to a local woman's shelter/organization.  I know a common "good time" is next to impossible, so I'll throw a proposed date out there.  How about Sunday, March 2nd from 7-9 at my house?  I'll make hot chocolate and we can share appetizers and any women's group ideas you may have.  RSVP for the chat and swap to Dunnigan5@comcast.net. and I'll send you the directions/address.

Happy snow, ice, and sleet day!
Maura
