This meeting will be held at 6:55pm on Tuesday, December 4 at the Lakeside Cafe (right near Clydes).  It will take an hour.  If you have an interest in working with other cyclists to take steps to improve safety on the roads try to make this meeting.   Come and find out what's happening and share your ideas.

Let me know if you can make it.

Hi everyone,
Several people expressed interest earlier this summer in serving on a committee to address cyclists-motorist issues and to improve cyclist-motorist relations in Howard County.   There were some articles in the newspaper this summer that started a discussion and prompted the idea.   I included someone from each of the Howard County cycling clubs.  Please let me know if someone else would be a better choice to serve on this committee than yourself.   Most of you on the list above already expressed interest in participating.  However, I did take the liberty to add a couple people because I didn't want to exclude your bike group from this effort.

Let me introduce everyone:
Sadj Bartolo, former President of the Mid-Maryland Tri-Club
Jack Guarneri, former President of the APL Cycling Club
Michele Bull, from HoCoCyclists
Stuart Lamb, from the Glenelg Gang, Howard County part of the Baltimore Bicycling Club
Robert Anderson, from HoCoCyclists
Terry Harrigan, from the Glenelg Gang, Howard County part of the Baltimore Bicycling Club

I'm still busy with work and don't have time to serve on this committee or lead it.  However I can attend a kick-off meeting and introduce everyone.   There is a small cafe in downtown Columbia on Lake Kittamakundi that is very empty in the evenings.    I'm thinking a 6:30pm get together there the  Monday after Thanksgiving. . Dec 3rd   Let me know if that works for you?     At the first get together you can decide how often you want to meet, how you want to do it and what you want to accomplish.  Meanwhile I'll try to remember the name of the place ..it's easy to find.

Thanks for helping with this!!
Cyclists in Howard County surely appreciate your efforts. :)
