Before anyone can reply ...it was a typo, it was meant to say cones. Please don't tell Bill Wheeler, I can only imagine the ridicule...

Subject: [trigirls] Happy New Year Everyone!
I figured since I couldn't make the meeting, I'd touch base and say hi online. I hope everyone had a good holiday season, even if you didn't get to ring it in with orange comes on your head. Does anyone else live vicariously through the fun adventures of fellow MMTC members?!I thought I'd throw a few things out there since we're at the beginning of a new year. Has anyone heard from Jennifer/Her Health PT? I wondered how the book was coming. For anyone who didn't make it, last fall the ladies from Her Health PT did a terrific presentation specifically targeted for female triathletes. It was very beneficial and they were creating a book at a ridiculously reasonable price. Jennifer was also giving birth that month...typical open/run your own business, publish a few books, have a baby, do a triathlon under-achiever ;)Anyone have any great ideas for our group this year? It would be nice to compile a list of where everyone trains indoors, that way maybe you could catch up with people. I'm not sure of an easy way to do that. I also would be interested in what everyone has on their race calendar for the year. If you sign in on the MMTC site, you can see who else might be doing that race along with you. How about other things? I'd like to find out what people's favorite drinks/foods are (well, beyond beer or milk and cookies). What training plans, books, websites have worked for you? Now that Melissa is the official MMTC outfitter, we can shed the phys ed. gear and look for some sporty women's gear. It's nice to support businesses that acknowledge that women may want something stylin' (OK, for me, also cheap) to work out in. I've used Title IX Sports, Team Estrogen. She Beest, anyone else know good places to check out? Last question, I promise... Has anyone ever gone to a sports nutritionist? I was looking for someone experienced with endurance athletes with chocolate addiction problems. It's for a, ...um, friend. Thanks all! Happy New Year and happy off-season/strength training/base building/sleep lating...Maura-----Original Message-----

Hi Dawn and all. I can't go to one at that time, have fun. I went to one once and really got a good sweat going!

Hi All,
I’ve never done a spinning class before, but I thought I’d try this winter. The best one for me to get to, locally, is the 6:30 pm on weeknights at Columbia Athletic Club. Does anyone else go to that? I’d love to see a familiar face there.
Happy New Year to all,
Dawn
