Hi everyone...
I've been trying to drag my bottom out on the bike whenever it hits the 40 degree and above on the weekends, but its tough! At 3:00ish, the temp seems to always really drop off. the trainer has been rough on me (it seems to bother my knees more, go figure) and now that I finally got a second pair of bike shoes, I can actually go spinning in cleats! How funny was it before, when I overheard some tri-weekly spinners, commenting on how the "real" cyclists had shoes, and all these "new year resolution people". I just wanted to say, no, its b/c my bike shoes have Look pedals and these spinning bikes are SPDS. But they wouldn't get it, i"m sure. :)
I'm looking to start running more, slowly but surely. No real serious "training" till March I think...just a couple of swims a week (I'm still trying to get my butt to do fly), spinning/trainer/ride 2x a week, and 2-3 short
(about 2-4 miles) runs a week, but thats flexible.
I'm looking forward to skiing next weekend and going ice skating. And one of my other favorite winter activities--shoveling snow on days off school!!!
that being said, if its one of those random great 55 degree days, come out and join me!
