I'm totally up for one on Saturday morning!! I could do one of three:
1. From my house in Kensington, going down the Beach drive route. Only a couple hills (really, 3!), is 25 miles, and is popular to ride for the weekend cyclists. Once you get to Rock Creek, many of the road are closed to traffic.
2. From Olney, out to Damascus. Slight uphill on the way out, easy downhill on the way back. and, we can say a quick hello to my horse. :) Mainly on 108 and New Hampshire....traffic mainly on the first 5 miles of 108. 32 miles
3. From Cloverly (New Hampshire Ave, just south of Ashton): through Ashton, down Brighton Dam, up Haviland Mill, and back, with extra Ednor loop if desired. 17 miles. traffic can be a little heavy on New Hampshire (think 108 on tri course)
if you're interested, let me know, and we can head out at 9....there is room enough to park at all three.
