Count me in. Just tell me when and what time and where to meet and I'll
help.
Grace and Peace,
Tim

Subject: [tri4him_austin] Longhorn Tri Volunteer Opportunity
Greetings Tri4Him members and participants,
As part of a Tri4Him initiative, we plan to "give back" to the sport by
volunteering at one or more races each season. Not only does this reflect a
servant attitude, it introducing Tri4Him to the triathlon community, an
area where we serve, encourage and participate.
Amy sent out a request and information regarding the Longhorn Tri Festival
volunteer opportunity. Tri4Him will be supporting a water station during
the Half-Ironman, Sunday, October 7. We are seeking Tri4Him volunteers to
help with the water station. The Tri4Him station will be at approximately
mile 1 and mile 7. We need 10 people at the station to fill, distribute
water/ Gatorade and encourage the participants. The hours will be from 9:30
- 3:00pm. This is a long day, especially for the participants, this is why
it is important to have plenty of volunteers.
You may volunteer for the full day or part of the day. Shifts would be from
9-12 and 12-3. Most importantly, I just need to know when you will be
available, so we have enough volunteers. The more volunteer the more fun
and less work.
We will have a canopy, music and refreshments available. Please wear your
Tri4Him T-shirt if you have one. We hope to have T-shirts available also.
Please let me know if you are available to volunteer. Any questions, please
contact me at
barrett.criswell@... or (214) 680-9398.
Let's serve Him by serving others,
Barrett
