Hi Ya'll! Sorry this is so late in getting out. I have internet at work for the first time in 2 weeks. Here are the notes I have from this past meeting.

Joe opened us with Romans 15:5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

May this happen among us!

We need at least 8 volunteers for the Cap tex expo on Sunday May 27th. It was a lot fun last year!

Time slots are:

Please email me (as in hit REPLY RIGHT NOW) if you can volunteer and what your first two time slot choices are- or if there is a particular one you can do. (or part of one for that matter).

Volunteering: We decided to volunteer at at least one race. The tentative plan is the Austin Triathlon in September- I believe it is Sept 3. We are looking for at least 10 volunteers. Let me know if you are interested. The Plugerville race is coming up June 24th as well and I am thinking of volunteering for that one as well. Let me know if you are interested in helping out with that. I know some of our members are racing in it- lets go out and show our support to our fellow team members!

Tabitha House: Joe, Tim and I were part of a Delta team last year and we want to do this again. The tentative plan is to Race July 22nd at Marble Falls (Joe will be doing Vine Man in CA that same day.) We will be supporting Tabitha House- a group that builds houses for the poor in Cambodia. I will forward the info we have on that out to ya'll. Please let me know if you are interested in joining in!

Marblefalls Lake House: If anyone has possible access to a lake house in Marble Falls for all of us to stay at for the race, please let us know!

June Meeting: Our next "meeting" in June will be a social- cook-out event. Come tell your war stories from the last race you did! look for emails.

Advertizing- We would like to advertise in our local churches. If you know who your contact person is in your church and would be willing to help out with that, let me know. Strength in Numbers!!

We decided a goal of ours would be for Tri4Him to actually sponsor a race. This will probably be next year, but if you want to get involved with that, please let me know!
