Re: [trekybikes] Hello Fellow Y bike owners

Welcome to the group!  And Ahh yeah, Pacific Blue, that brings back memories!  As for upgrades, consider a new fork and pedals, and new tires, chain, brake pads too!

Hi

I bought me a Trek Y3 back in 1997 from local bike shop after
watching "Pacific Blue" and seeing on that show the design of the
bikes themselves, and it rides well for the number of years I had it,
soon has to get to bike shop for Maintenance, and to get a flat fixed,
but not a major issue there.    I'm not much of off-road rider, but
I'm gonna start getting into that a bit in this new area, since lot
less houses/businesses around here.

Any upgrades that would be good for my Y3?   or is it fine the way it
is with all factory parts.

Well I'll consider upgrading maybe the fork, maybe the tires, and chain, and brake pads(I know I need those, since haven't changed them since 2000) of course...
