Do you have the book
Horsemanship Though Feel by Bill Dorrance ans Leslie Desmond? This concept of
feel and timing is very intence, it sure makes it easier to see it then to read
about it.
I first experianced this whole concept at a Brent Graef clinc in Sacamento three
years ago. http://www.brentgraef.com, that is when it came alive for me, athough
still not easy, but at least I am starting to get it now. He is right in line
with Harry Whitney and Ray Hunt as well as Buck Branaman. A friend and I have
hosted Brent Graef the last two years up in Crescent City,CA and he will be
coming back in Sept. He does do clinic in the Sacamento area you should go and
audit sometime.
On his website he has a short video of a 2yr filly who had only been handled a
few times in her life, you can watch it and see how Brent uses feel and timing
and directs the feet.

I know my horses are much happier when I can work on feel and timing!

Carol
