Thats what I felt as well but me,who is a trainer and another trainer
cannot find anything oviously wrong,there are NO good vets anywhere
near us.
I thought i would give him only light if he doesnt rear, lunging work
and maybe trails for a while

Sounds like a pain issue to me. are his legs all the same temp, even inside the soles of his feet? I'd have the vet check him for soundness. Cheryl of...

I think you should have a equine dentist out to check his teeth first. Even though they may look ok to you, a good dentist would be able to do a good check....
