It works on any rotors. I'd do new ones so I had
no down time but that's just me. They go in a
chamber overnight and slowly ramp down to nearly 300
below, soak there, and slowly ramp up. I think it will
only take 1 dewer of LN2 ($170) but might start a
second because of the long soak. If we split, worst
case, $340 amongst my 8 rotors and 8 or so rotors from
others it would be $20 a rotor. Diversified Cryo charges
$65 per rotor with the club discount.
I will be cryo treating my M3 rotors next week.
If anyone wants to do theirs in the same chamber at
the same time, let me know and we'll split the LN2
cost between all the rotors.

If you don't know
the benefits of cryo treating rotors, it strengthens
the bonding in the metal. It makes your rotors last 2
or 3 times as long and causes them to resist warping
and cracking.
Have fun, I'll be in Campbell helping Peter Hsu install his JTD brake cooling
:-). That's most likely my next mod, so I wanted to get experience with
it.

Jim
Jim, does that mean you didn't have as much fun as we did? :)

Did anyone
mention the huge brake-flushing party at your house Saturday? Let the streets

How about some track pics? I couldn't upload from my hard drive, but it went
fine from my website.
I'd be happy to put more in there - just mail them to

Added Thunderhill open track for Jan-Feb, NASCAR at Laguna Seca in May (sorry,
John, you're outnumbered), Monterey Historics in August, Grand Prix of Monterey

I just received a flyer from NASA regarding a
high performance driving event at Laguna Seca on Sat.
January 15. Any interest?

From the
