One of our drivers today read my mind in regards to the 9-11 situation. He
suggested that we raise some money to forward to the families of our fallen
soldiers from the Iraq war. All of the proceeds at our next track event's
raffle will go to this cause. If you would like to be a part of this, you
can PayPal it (using a different email address --
soldierfamilyfund@...) or just send a check or money order.
Please make sure on the check or on the subject line of the PayPal that you
note that this is for the charity fund. I am currently searching for groups
that would benefit from this drive -- if you know of a good group, do let me
know, please. We will continue collecting until November 1st, 2007. At
that time, I will make out the check and let you know how much we were lucky
enough to donate. With more than a thousand members in our database, I am
hoping to collect about $5000. I will get the ball rolling by donating
$200.

This we will do in rememberance of all those lost since and because of the
tragic events on September 11, 2001. Let us give something to the families
of those that gave their all. The donation will be made on behalf of all of
T.E.A.M. Racing's drivers and instructors. We will send in a letter of
intent for the funds, and will include every contributing member's name on
the signature. I will then forward this letter onto all of you, so that you
will know you were a part of helping what I believe to be a very good cause.
Thanks, Peter, for your outstanding suggestion. And THANKS to everyone
reading this -- your time is valueable, and I appreciate your consideration.
