Typically the split is between open-wheel and closed-wheel cars.
For example, I allow closed-wheel formula cars at my events (things
like SRF's, Radicals, etc). I do not allow open-wheel cars such as
Formula Mazdas, Fran-Am cars, etc.
Even Thunderhill goes to alternating run groups when open-wheel cars
show up at the test days.
