I have an E30M3, adn while I love it, the maintenance issues are pretty
significant.
If I had it to do over, especially since I put in new springs, shocks etc when
I bought the car, I might have done an E30 325. (even the e's have some
potential apparently). I think that the maint issues are much less significant
because the motors are less high strung, and parts are WAY cheaper. Of course,
you don't get those sexy body panels, but on the other hand, you won't get as
much attention either.
