"H1" is the type of bulbs your headlights use for
both low and high beam. So you have 2 of them per
headlight. You got 65W (I think) bulbs from the factory. You
can upgrade these to 100W bulbs. You will need to get
"high-temp extensions" because with 100W bulbs insulation on
wires will slowly burn close to where the bulb is
attached. Both 100W bulbs and extensions are available from
Josh @ Eurosport. Bulbs are $10, extensions were
pretty cheap.

I get about 1 year life out of
these bulbs -- I am guessing that they are not getting
full voltage. They are somewhat brighter than 65W
ones, but I don't think they are any whiter. Wiring
them on a separate circuit would probably improve
brightness and whiteness significantly.

First time I
got Osram bulbs and they were very nice. Last time I
got GE (made in Hungary) and they were of pretty
crappy quality. If you find a good place to get Osram or
other high-quality bulbs, plz let us know.

Gleb
