Heh, funny. The 911 is intriguing, but I can't do
it this time around. This year's racing budget has
already been very spent on the M3 so I need something
that I won't be tempted to turn into a race car,
because if there's one thing I learned...it's that you
BUY race cars, you don't BUILD them.<br><br>Sub $27k
is the key search parameter followed closely by fun
factor and the almost complete lack of expense to
maintain while I work up the cash to payoff Dynospot.
Ideally, the car will scale well (meaning I won't get
bored w/ it) and be inexpensive to maintain for years.
It only needs to serve as a track addict car for a
year, when I plan to purchase an open wheel track car
(Formula {Ford, Mazda, 500}].<br><br>Here are my current
thoughts, in no particular order:<br><br>2001 Type
R<br>2001 MR2 Spyder<br>2001 Miata<br>E36 M3 - may be too
tempted to race<br>what am I missing?<br><br>Of course, I
still have the motorcycle, so if I want to go fast...I
always have that option.<br><br>-Travis
