You may remember that I burnt up my engine hot
lapping at Thunderhill about a month ago and I've finally
gotten around to inspecting the damage. One *completely*
melted #2 rod bearing resulting in a cracked piston and
2 bent valves and oh, yeah, after I melted the
bearing the crank was next, so that's shot
too.<br><br>Now I'm off to 2.5L land and BMW CCA club racing ala
I-Prepared, but maybe stock. I've already got most of the
parts lying around to have a good stock class setup,
but I'd like to go to Prepared, any thoughts on the
additional trouble doing that (towing vs. driving, maint,
just how much more expensive will prepared be, who
knows what else I can't even imagine)
