This is the date listed in an email newsletter from Vertical Runner. This
means that this year there are two weeks between the Akron and Towpath
marathon, not just one.

The Towpath website now confirms the Oct. 12th date. Online registration is also available for '08. I just signed up today....I guess I'm hoping the early bird...
