I have the Garmin 205 and have no problem with signal reception in the
towpath.

I used it for last year's marathon. It worked well. It was running a bit
slow, but it was consistent and never lost signal. I plan to use it again
this year.

For those who have raced and trained on the towpath, what have you experienced with GPS reception? I train with a Garmin 305 and tend to get inconsistent... 		twentyninek
