I know what you mean - I've been out a few times this year, but it was
always hard to get started in 47 degree weather (my lower temp. limit). But
once I was out, I got into the ride. Although the feet would still be cold
when I returned.
I've been going to spinning classes most every day this winter. It doesn't
do much for endurance, but my hill climbing is not too shabby. I'd
recommend spinning to get a head start on the season.
