and about fitting bicycles and
what kinds of bikes are better for what kind of riding and how to make
cycling a part of your everyday routines.
roll: the bicycle shop at Polaris is sponsoring a series of events around
the launch of a new line of Rocky Mountain an Giant For Women road and
mountain bikes on Saturday (tomorrow) October 7th. The event will include
elementary bike maintenance classes at 10:00 am and at 4:00 pm, as well as a
health seminar and a discussion on incorporating cycling into your everyday
lives by Jenny Skorcz, Giant for Women Ride Society Leader and Senior
Instructor at Barnett Bicycle Institute.

8am Group Rides Join us and celebrate women riders! We’ll have
mountain, road and bike path rides going out that morning. Riders should
meet at roll: at 8am.
2hr max
10am & 4pm On-The-Go Basics Class Take part in our ever popular
mechanics class. This session will review all the basics you’ll need to
keep on riding specifically diagnosing and fixing flat tires, minor bike
repairs and adjustments. 1-1/2hr
12pm Health Seminar We’ve asked a guest speaker to discuss using
cycling to get in shape. Whether you’re riding the bike path or are seeking
the competitive edge for your next race, we’ll review training techniques,
cardio and strength workouts while biking. 45min
2pm Inspirational Speaker Jenny Skorcz, Giant for Women Ride Society
Leader and Senior Instructor at Barnett Bicycle Institute will lead an
motivating discussion on incorporating cycling into everyday life and
staying motivated. 45min
6pm Welcome to Giant for Women Join us for appetizers and be the
first in the country to see the new 2007 women’s line of road and mountain
bikes from Giant. Meet with other female riders interested in your sport.
