I definitely will!
I know Cliff Fletcher actually was in the Orient just before the
anouncement of his hiring.
I think he was looking for a new Leaf coach, some guy is named
Win Won Soon.

Hey - I've just moved to Ontario from another province - of course I'm
getting all kinds of razz about being anti-Leafs...I heard an acronym
somewhere for the Leafs that just shuts people up - like Lose Each And
every Game in the last Forty YearS or somethign...anyone remember what
it actually is??
THis thing is amazing, just graduated without even turning up a single day. Now
fully qualified in a BA and looking to apply for a raise! I'll keep you guys
posted, but if any of u interested in getting a BA or something as well
without having to actually go through all the leg work i highly
recommend these

The leafs are out!!
The CBC will be forced to turn thier spotlight else where.
Less blue and white out on the streets of Ontario.
The post season kicks off and we will not see the leafs for the 2nd
straight year.
I am very happy.
Is there any interest in setting up an NHL playoff pool for our
memebers?
Post if there is.
Ass-holes who send out spam ads and child molestors are things I hate
more then then the the Maple Leafs. Please don't ruin this thing, I
have noticed many people drop off because of this garbage. We are one
game away from a no show in the playoffs! Hopefully that will result
in the dismisall of managment team. Time for Quinn to return and
provide just a shred of respectability for the franchise.
Next it's time to talk to San Jose and say good-bye to Sundin or stay
with the quality goaltending that got them where they are today. Then
again Coutier will continue the pattern of recent years.
They need to replace the coach with an asian coach named Win Won
Soon, I hear he is expensive but worth it.
That type of talk is what this club should be about, not some chump
trying to hock garbage, that just causes people ot quit cause it is
rude stuff mate.

I think it's great that it's come down to this.
Super great would be that they been out for the past 9 weeks.
But the Leafs must beat the Habs and it cant go into overtime and they
also need the Islanders to lose at least one fo thier last 2 games.
The Laffs have had too much coverage by the CBC and TSN at the expense
of other teams. It is time that all teams get their fair share of the
HD broadcast pie.
I do hate the Toronto Maple Leafs and the treatment they are given by
CBC. I also hate pieces of shit who try to sell me stuff ruining the
purity of the Toronto Maple Leaf Haters Club. Please spare me the
bullshit and leave the purity of hatred towards a team alone.
Cheers
Racism must be stopped!
Toronto City Councillor Del Grande Must be Defeated!!!
Please join the "Stop Racism Campaign", by supporting my bid to
Toronto City Council, waynevcook@....
Councillor Del Grande speaks in terms of "white people", offending
persons of colour living in Ward 39 (Scarborough-Agincourt); he
encourages divisive politics in our community by speaking of clashes
between Hong Kong Chinese and Mainland Chinese. Del Grande talks
about his opponents as "foreign representation", a reference to
Guyanese born former City Councillor Sherene Shaw and seeking
the "ethnic vote", a recent reference to candidate, Mr. John Wong.
Members of Toronto City Council not sharing his narrow views,
Councillor Del Grande calls "Communists at City Hall".
Please help me rid ourselves of this offensive politician and join

Campaign" team website is: http://localissues.meetup.com/19/ and our
first team meeting will be Wednesday, September 13th. Please see our

this is it.
You probably have noticed alot less blue and white around on the
streets lately. Not as many cars driving around honking thier horns
and screaming thier fool heads off. Yes - this could be the year that
the Leafs dont make the playoffs. Right now and actually for a while,
it's all but assured. Once they are mathmatically eliminated - there
will have to be some type of celebration. Any ideas from our members?
Your prez,

Ottawa will have something to prove after Vancouver kicks the hell out of them,
so I say Toronto 1 Ottawa 7. Belfore will try to play sober and it will kill him
inside of his inner alcoholic!

2-1 loss to LA.
Toronto now sits in 4th in thier division. But there's a big game this
weekend against Ottawa.
Any predictions?
I say Ottawa wins 5-2.

Hey to anyone who will read! p { margin-top : 2px; margin-bottom : 0px;
margin-left : 2px; margin-right : 2px; }
I am a 3rd year Anthropology Student at York University, Toronto.
I am doing a project on the Maple leafs and thier "crazy" fans.
I am planning on looking at both sides of the coin here, those who love the
leaves and those who can't stand them.
I was hoping that someone out there would have sometime to talk to me. I don't
want to offend or upset anyone, just curious as to what makes someone like or
hate the leafs.
thanks for reading, and hope to hear from some of you soon!
Thanks again
Sarah

They've picked it up abt recently.
They are now 10-7-2 which is good for 22 points. That puts them in 3rd
in NE division. Tonight they play against Boston, who is right behind
them in the standings. But they've got some tough games against
Montreal and Carolina coming up.
A few years ago would you have believed that a sentece could have been
ended with the words...." .....tough games against Montreal and
Carolina"? No way.
Some interesting rumours out there about the Leafs having a 1.5 mil per
year for 2 years deal with both Gary Roberts and Joe Nieuwendyk. Then
telling Roberts they would give him 1.75 for each year if Joe would
agree to a 1 mil deal. Roberts (rightfully) said no way. Then Florida
came in offering 4.5 for years to each of them. Sportsnet then says
that TML then offered Joe 1.75 but it was too late.
Roberts and Nieuwendyk have signed with Florida for 2 years.
I'm glad to see Joe Nieuwendyk out of that uniform.
For those of you who have turned to junior hockey for your fix, you'll
know that tonight London defeated phenom Sidney Crosby and the rest of
the Rimouski Oceanic for the CHL's Memorial Cup. This marks the first
championship in the forty-year history of the Knights, concluding a
dominating season in which they set a CHL record with a 31-game
unbeaten streak and being ranked the top team in the country from the
start of the season until the end.
As a life-long fan of the team, I have to say congratulations to the
Knights!
Chris Beach
London
.... I've been following the OHL much more.
This current series between the Kitchener Rangers and the London
Knights has been some really good hockey.
How has everyone else been filling the void?

Personally, I'm not missing the season that much. Luckily, I've been a
London Knights (29-1-2 at the Christmas break) fan my whole life, so
I've been able to give Jr. 100% of my attention.
Has anyone else turned more to the CHL or AHL with the NHL gone? Or
have you just lost interest in general?
Chris Beach
Go Knights Go!
I highly doubt there will be a season this year. I think the players
now see the owners mean business and they are willing to give up this
season and maybe more in order to fix this problem.
It's sad but to be honest I've been saying that I don't miss hockey
mainly because it's not the game it used to be...I hope when it
returns it comes back better then it's ever been.
Some 1980's hockey would be alright with me.

I do. I'm ever an optimist, but I think there will be. It will be
shortened, I think, but both sides will be pressured by the fans and
those within their own ranks to a compromise.

Go Flames Go! -this year was just a practice run, they'll finish it
