and we all need to know! Who's who and how we got
them In Sept. the Scarecrows selected the L.A. Jr. Kings
as their protected team. USHL rules state that four
players could be selected from this team. The Scarecrows
picked up four forwards. •Adam Bartholomay (18,
Agoura Hills, Calif.)led the United States’ No. 8-rated
midget team with 49 goals and was second with 109
penalty minutes in 57 games •Grant
Goeckner-Zoeller (18, Los Angeles) tops with 60 assists and 95
points in 62 games •Joseph Howard (18, Saugas,
Calif.) contributed 63 points in 62 games •Jason
Hastings (18, Manhatten Beach, Calif.). collected 30
assists and 37 points from the blueline Littler
also used one of the four tenders to sign a forward
from the Buffalo Saints: •Doug Conley (18,
Buffalo, N.Y.) notched a team-leading 29 assists and 44
points in 36 games for the No. 3-ranked midget
team USHL January Recruit Draft Only high school and

Intent): •Vince Bellissimo, (f) 18 years old, a 6-foot, 190-pound
native of Toronto, committed to play collegiately for
Western Michigan University beginning in
2002-03 •Emery Olauson, (F) 19 years old a 6-2, 185-pound
Canmore, Alberta Olauson's mother originally is from
Atchison and attended The University of Kansas, and
Olauson has family and friends in northeast Kansas. He
has dual citizenship in Canada and the United States
and will not occupy an import roster
spot. Drafted 1- Keith Dore from Lincoln. (F), Regina,
Saskatchewan, native was the Stars' leading scorer during the
1999-00 season with 65 points (24 goals and 41 assists),
but a back injury limited him to 20 points in 14
games last year. 2-Phil Larson,(F) a Roseau,
Minn., native who was captain and leading scorer last
season for the last-place Rochester
Mustangs 3-Mike Fournier (D) (6-3, 205) from the Des Moines
Buccaneers 4-Jesse Minneman (D) (6-1, 215) from the Tri-City
Storm 5-Dominick Hammer (D) (6-1, 205) from Lincoln; and Will Parr
from Sioux Falls Crows Sign
Goaltender •Eric Aarnio 5-foot-10, 180-pound ,18, went 21-4-1 in
goal last season with a .945 save percentage, allowing
an average of just 1.16 goals per game. He led the
Bears to the 2000-01 Minnesota State High School Hockey
Tournament, earning all-conference and all-state

had 19 goals and 13 assists last season in the North
America Hockey League's Danville Wings. • Mark
Fuqua, 17, forward, who had 24 goals and 34 assists for
