them<br><br>In Sept. the Scarecrows selected the L.A. Jr. Kings
as their protected team. USHL rules state that four
players could be selected from this team. The Scarecrows
picked up four forwards.<br><br>•Adam Bartholomay (18,
Agoura Hills, Calif.)led the United States’ No. 8-rated
midget team with 49 goals and was second with 109
penalty minutes in 57 games<br><br>•Grant
Goeckner-Zoeller (18, Los Angeles) tops with 60 assists and 95
points in 62 games<br><br>•Joseph Howard (18, Saugas,
Calif.) contributed 63 points in 62 games<br><br>•Jason
Hastings (18, Manhatten Beach, Calif.). collected 30
assists and 37 points from the blueline <br><br>Littler
also used one of the four tenders to sign a forward
from the Buffalo Saints:<br><br>•Doug Conley (18,
Buffalo, N.Y.) notched a team-leading 29 assists and 44
points in 36 games for the No. 3-ranked midget

has dual citizenship in Canada and the United States
and will not occupy an import roster
spot.<br><br>Drafted<br><br>1- Keith Dore from Lincoln. (F), Regina,
Saskatchewan, native was the Stars' leading scorer during the
1999-00 season with 65 points (24 goals and 41 assists),
but a back injury limited him to 20 points in 14
games last year.<br><br>2-Phil Larson,(F) a Roseau,
Minn., native who was captain and leading scorer last
season for the last-place Rochester
Mustangs<br><br>3-Mike Fournier (D) (6-3, 205) from the Des Moines

Goaltender<br><br>•Eric Aarnio 5-foot-10, 180-pound ,18, went 21-4-1 in
goal last season with a .945 save percentage, allowing
an average of just 1.16 goals per game. He led the
Bears to the 2000-01 Minnesota State High School Hockey
Tournament, earning all-conference and all-state
honors.<br><br>Entry Draft<br><br>• Jason Tejchman, 18, forward, who
had 19 goals and 13 assists last season in the North
America Hockey League's Danville Wings.<br><br>• Mark
Fuqua, 17, forward, who had 24 goals and 34 assists for
the Petrolia Jets of the Western Junior "B" Hockey
League.<br><br>• Erik Wesely, 19, forward, who had 17 goals and 19
assists for the NAHL's Chicago Freeze.<br><br>• Kelly
