Let's get past all the attention to Rocker's
mouth getting him in trouble for a minute. Am I the
only person who has noticed that he is throwing a lot
more breaking stuff this year? It reminds me of Mark
Wohlers a little. Why does a guy who throws almost 100
mph have to resort to a change-up et al. Just wind up
and throw smoke! When Wohlers tried the same thing he
started giving up a lot more walks and hits. I don't know
if Rocker will ever let himself get over the SI
thing and get on with his life, but I wish somebody in
Richmond or somewhere would remind him that his
overpowering fastball is his best pitch.
