Glavine and the Mets won 5-1 today against the San Francisco Giants.
Tom went 7.2 innings, giving up 9 hits and 1 run (on a solo homer to
Alou), while walking zero and striking out 3.

YAY. Awesome job for Tommy. He dropped his era from 5.05 to 4.63
as well.

And when he left the mound in the 8th, the Shea stadium crowd gave
him a standing ovation. :) That's what I like to hear.
