Hey guys. The Georgia Transplant Foundation updated their web site
the other day with information on the 2005 Tom Glavine's Spring
Training event. The event, which was held Jan. 27th, raised over
$450,000! AWESOME. This is the 13th year for the event.

It was held at the 755 club at Turner Field (I love that he's a Met
but it's still held at the Braves stadium) and included a bunch of
folks: Tom, John Smoltz, Mark DeRosa, Kevin Millwood, Andruw Jones,
Eddie Perez, Falcons cheerleaders, Braves mascot, etc, etc.

You know, I've always been proud of the athlete Tom is but, even
more than that, I'm just proud of the great person he is.

I can't say more or I'll get choked up and then you'll all laugh at
me and make fun of my chick-ness. LOL
