I know what you mean about Atlanta not being the same without him.
It's completely true. Anytime I happen to see a Braves game on tv,
watching it... it just feels like there is something missing. It
just feels wrong. It's a weird feeling. I guess I'm just still not
used to seeing the team and NOT seeing Tom either on the mound or in
the dugout with them.
Speaking of proud, don't get me started on how proud I am of Tommy
getting involved with CureSearch (childhood cancer foundation). Have
you guys read about that? How he convinced Major League Baseball to
get involved with them? I actually got teary-eyed when I read one of
the stories about it.
He's a fabulous pitcher, mega talented and all of that but, I'm just
so glad he's also a good guy, you know?
