It's too bad he lost today and it was even more heartbraking because
he lost against his old hometown team and on Father's Day. Well I'm
sure he will do better next time. Even the best pitchers have bad
days sometimes. This loss reminds me that the last time Tom lost was
on mother's day where he gave up four earned runs and five overall
against San Diego. Truth be told, the score looks worse than Tom
actually pitched. He only gave up 3 earned runs and one of those
runs was one which probably should have been unearned. When Javier
Lopez threw the ball away in a pick off play. Oh well, he'll do a
lot better next time and hopefully he'll get some more runs support.
I was really proud of him in Minnesota for his two hit shutout
against one of the best offensive teams in the American League.
