Thanks for the update. Have to admit I've been rather sidetracked lately - my
cousin's son is competing in the Olympics! His event is the C-1 Canoe
(Whitewater Slalom). Alas, he missed a gate in his 2nd run and fell from 4th to
last place today.
He is the only U.S. entry in the event. Hopefully he will do okay in the
run-off between
the guys who did not make the finals.
Also watching the rowing (double scull) as my aunt by marriage has a nephew
in that event. I knew the athletic talent in this family was someplace - it
sure
wasn't passed along to me!

I was watched the live scores of Todd Martin vs Raemon Sluiter and it was an
incredibly close match. The first set had so many ups and downs it was
incredible. Despite multiple break chances for both plaers both of them ended
up breaking only once to force a tiebreaker, which Martin won 7-5.
