Thanks for the compliment!
Don't know if you are shooting with film or a digital camera. I'm
using a high speed film for most of my shots now. That should
help some of the blur, but once in a while it is fun to have just
a little so that you can get the speed effect. I also have an
advantage that you don't - I am usually standing on the edge
of the court taking those pictures. Don't have that opportunity
at a professional tournament <G>. Well, we were almost on
top of the players at the 1996 Olympics....
Oh, yes! If Todd, Mal, or any other professionals are at the event
they are more than happy to speak with you. Just approach them
when they are not obviously engaged in a converstation with someone
else. Normal courtesy applies as it would anywhere. Some of those
photos in the album are ones my husband took of me and the
celebrities. I missed the Jim Courier-Mal Washington match a
few weeks ago - hated not to be there as Jim missed our Gala
events last fall. He is lots of fun! Todd is just as incredibly mild
mannered and humble in person as he appears on television. Brian
Gottlieb has quite a sense of humor, too. There are advantages in
having the ATP headquarters just down the road from here :)
(FYI: I'm the tallest female you will see in those pictures! - Long
dark hair, and too heavy <sigh> -except for Brenda Schultz) Also
get to meet a number of the Jacksonville Jaguars. As a member of
the booster club I get to help out with some of their charitable activities,
too. Will really miss Mark Brunell's events now that he is a Redskin.
Sure hope he doesn't pull out his support of the local childrens hospital.
I'd love to see Todd on Friday, but it isn't as important for me since
I have met him a number of times. However, I would love for Kristina
to get the chance - my camera will be on hand "just in case".

Do you actually get a chance to talk to him at the event? I looked at
your photalbum and you have some great pictures. Some of my pictures
look a little blurry since I had never used it for motion at night before. Any
tips on how to take better tennis pictures so I will know for next year? I have
one pic of Martin hitting a backhand (I didn't post it) that would be great
except it looks like I added cartoony special effects on his swing.
