I have to admitt that I'm in with em' when
they're chanting "Beat LA" But you're right, we should
probably come up with a more interesting chant. I love the
Padres alot...but the only team I'm true blue about
would be my red white & Blue Chicago Cubbies. I was
born & raised there and I've been a fan since birth!
It's definately in my blood. I was 4 months old when I
went to my first game at Wrigley...of course I don't
remember it, but my mom has all of the pictures. I had
this cute little Cubs dress on. Going to Wrigley was
all I did growing up. I have to say that since I've
moved out west, that is the one thing I miss the most.
But like I said, I make it home twice a year to go
see them. I wish I could follow them again like I did
last year, but that gets expensive! I went up to Pac
Bell last year to see them play ( and of course I'm
totally clad in tons of Cubbie gear ) I feared for my
life!! literally!! I saw one Cub fan get his butt kicked
and then they threw the Cub fan out of the stadium!!!
I can't express how much I HATE the Giants!!!!
Grrrr!! I thought that it would be harder at Dodger
Stadium, with the Cubs/Dodger fights that were happening
at that time, but it turned out to be the exact
opposite. I had a blast in LA and it was bad in SF. It was
actually bad here at the Q when the Cubs came...because of
course when the Cubs are here at the Q I am in no way
shape or form a Padre fan anymore. They are pretty
hateful to Cub fans. I'm glad that for the rest of the
year I'm there to support the Pads!

Thanks for
the tip about Dodger stadium....I didn't even think
about that. I'm sure the Rockies will be up there
before I go to Chi. I'll have to make a trip up there.

Have a good weekend....I'll try to be nice to the
Dodgers while they're here :)

( Mad about that
game last night though...bad reliever we got in
Saenz...he gave up 3 home runs in one inning!!! We should've
won that game.....oh well....there's still 3 more
)

Sarah
