Round 1

All but the 5 highest seeds in the afc face-off in home and home
matches. With the winners move on to the next round.

00-seeded number *-Guam and Bhutan withdrew. Kuwait gose into
round 3 and Indonesia will enter ether round 2 or round 3.


Round 2

The 8 lowest seeds from thr round 1 will face-off in home and home
matches. Winners move on to the next round.

Round 3

The 4 round 2 winners join the other 16 teams. The teams are splt
into 5 groups of 4. They will played 6 matches each. The top 2 in
each group move on to the next round.

Ruond 4

The 10 teams will be split into 2 group of 5. they will played 8
matches each. The top 2 teams in each group will go to the world cup
and the 2 3rd place teams go to a playoff.

AFC Playoff

The 2 3rd place teams will face-off in a home and home matches. the
winner will face the OFC winner in a playoff.
