The VIP Tickets for the upcoming game against Indiana
are arriving tomorrow afternoon.
 
Please come meet us at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub at 915
SE Hawthorne at 6pm Wednesday the 3oth to pick up your
tickets.
 
We have been issued a HUGE challenge- to try to bring
an extra 2,000 people to the game.  If we can do this
the management will throw in a couple of free kegs for
us after the match in the beer garden.  This may be
daunting but it could be a fun challenge for us.  Even
if we only pull in a few hundred it will be a success.

 
As this is a tall order we need everybody's best ideas
for how to get tickets out there effectively- so
please have ideas ready to share.  We will probably
start by breaking the tickets into blocks that could
then be further distributed.  Kurt has also kindly
offered to host us at his annual summer party on
Saturday- so you will have multiple opportunities to
pick up tix.

Bearers of the tickets will get $2 off admission to
the August 15th match against Indiana, and a full
refund if not completely satisfied.  But most
importantly, they are guests of the Timbers Army.
 This effort started as a way to collaborate with the
Park management to get more fans to the matches.  It
is grass roots guerilla marketing, and everyone who
loves the Timbers is asked to participate.  Blocks of
tickets will be given out to whomever can make the
gathering Wednesday, but don't worry if you can't make
it then.  We will post who has these blocks, so that
they can be further distributed.
 
When you have your tickets you are asked to use them
to convince new people to come.  Simple as that!
