I'm in my forties and have spent the majority of my life unhappy and bored. I
was one of those women who married their high school sweet heart straight out of
school at a very young age without really knowing what else was out there.
I've only been with one man and as much as I care about him I'm looking for
more, looking for some passion and some fun
I'm sure there are men in a similar situation as myself and right now I want
something discreet chatting online is a good way to start
you can reach me and view my pics here

I know some friends already who have met a few nice honeys off of this kind of
stuff (here is the place they use: http://www.meetlocalbabez.com/pdqs , but what
do you think? I think it is mad cool from what I saw at my friend’s house, and
am thinking of signing up later today. Basically it's a regular personalssite,
but with an instant message and Webcams system built in. Basically you join
their chat-room on their site it gives you a link to those people online in the
chat-room, their location, their picture, etc and at one click you can start
chatting to them over Webcam (even if you don't have one). Pretty nifty stuff I
think!
Thought i would share something with ya'll. Great fun and it does actually
work. Met my girl on here, http://www.hookupatthisplace.info/iwyz and so far
it's been the best year of my life ever! Wish you all the same happiness.
HI TO ALL. i am new to the group and i live in detroit. I LIVE not
to far from tiger stadium in SOUTHWEST DETROIT. I drive by tiger
stadium every day going to and comeing from work. I THINK THE TIGERS
SHOULD BE STILL PLAYING THERE. i was a member of the tiger stadium
fan club. I THINK COMERICA PARK STINKS. HOPE EVERYONE has a happy
holidays take care DONALD DETROIT MI
I'm trying to figure out if the Tigers are offering any tours of the
Stadium. I know the lame job they did in celebrating the stadium
until it's last year indicated that they had no respect for the
stadiums past until it's marketed last year, but are they offering
tours to fans for free or any price. I've tried calling Commercial
Park in an effort in finding out info but to no avail. Anything any
of you can contribute would be helpful. Thank you.
I was looking through my email and looked in clubs. Decided I'd make
a post for the first time in a year or more lol. I ate at Shelley's
at Michigan and Trumbull the other day before I went to a Red Wings
game. The ole stadium still looks ok, but you can tell the the
stadium is abondoned. The neon lights in the plaza read "IGR STDIM"
or something close to that, the ticket windows were spray painted,
and the place looked like a dump. It looks as if the whole place
just upped and left, as the signs for restaurants, the
advertisements and such in the plaza are still up. Heck, you could
probably walk into the Little Caesars and find a pizza in the
freezer and cook it in the oven! I'm starting to adjust to Comerica,
and I know believe that it was time for the Tigers to move out. I
remember that opening day 2000, people jumping the fence to run the
bases. I would have, if I wasn't confined to the upper deck. I
remember a picture of a shirtless kid on the front page of the
Macomb Daily the next day, running the bases with security chasing
him, the headline "The Last Hurrah". Then I remember a few months
later on closing day, with a crowd on its feet and shutters flashing
as the last pitch was thrown, I remember the hit late in the game,
the home run, or maybe a grand slam, I'm not sure anymore. I'm only
20, but it seems like I have a lifetime of memories at the Corner.
In my dorm room in California I have a plaque saying "Thanks for the
Memories" with the "Baseball at the Corner" logo. Every time I'm on
my way downtown or to a Wings game or such, I drive by, eat at
Crishel's or Shelley's, whatever you call it. (The restaurant was
nicely remodeled too) In a few short days, I'll be back at the
corner with the crowds, waiting for a bus to Comerica Park for
opening day and I will remember. Comerica is a grand park, and Ford
Field looks excellent too. Someday Comerica will be known as the
Corner, maybe not with the affection, but still with the memories,
maybe a world series loss, maybe riots following a win, we never
know. Good Luck to the Tigers, and maybe I'll check back in a few
months. Till then, goodbye, and Thank you for the memories.
BTW: I doubt they will redevelop the Train Depot, its been talked of
for years. Same with the ballpark, hopefully they'll preserve it and
do something nice to it, but it will probably rot like the rest of
Detroit.
Blip. Blip. Blip. Looking for any signs of a fan
of Tiger Stadium, the TRUE home of the Tigers!!!
Glad to say that here in the Metro area, there is talk
of renovating the old train depot. Now maybe in
another 20 year when the stadium is truly a shell of it's
former self, then maybe someone will come along with the
right idea and the right amount of money and save the
grand ole girl! Till I see anyone in the next 3 or 4
months, Ciao!!

BTW, Happy New Year!!
Hi fellow fan in SCS!! I'm beginning to regret
making that attitude laced post about the 3 months. LOL.
Glad to see you. I have ben down to Tiger Stadium for
a walk around a month ago and till it looks decent.
Other than a real good paint job and some sidewalk
repair, it looks fine to me. Anyone know of how to get in
touch with anyone inside Tiger Stadium on tours??
Everytime I call the Commercical Park phones, noone can
give me straight answer! Any info would help, I'd like
to take a tour before they "supposedly" scrap it
soon.
Hello, are there any members of this club here
anymore? Just wonderring seeing that I see a new post once
every 3 months. The 3 months are up so I'll do the
honors since noone else belongs to this club. Hi There.
Tiger Stadium Fan here. I'll be talking to y'all in
June when someone else decides to post. Haha.
Hello All,

I've been a Tiger fan since
the mid 70's when I was old enough to understand who
all the players were. The times are tough now and
have been for quite some time. But, the mid 70's
provided some lean years also that I can remember.
Hopefully they can get their act together like before soon
so that we don't go another 16 years in-between
World Championships like the last two. God I miss the
old ballpark.
Hopefully the city won't let it sit
around for another 20 years or more before doing
something with it, like they do with all the other
meaningful structures here in Detroit.
Despite what the nick at the top of this message
states, I'm 44, and have been a tiger fan, since around
1963. I have many fond memories of Tiger Stadium, and
regardless of the reasons or facts, I hated to see it
go...

I realize that there is limited intrest in this
club, but as soon as I have them scanned, i will have
some pictures to enter into the club.

Perhaps
at some future time we can all chat and commiserate
on the "Loss" of Tiger stadium...
I live in the Dayton area and have not heard what going to happen to Tiger
Stadium. I hear the new one ok but doesn't do the same the old girl.

Fred
Hi everyone. As a lifelong Tiger Fan, (Yes even
this year), I am thrilled that there is a club for all
of us who grew up at "The Corner". My Dad took me to
my first Tiger in 1965, (I was seven) Denny McLain
pitched. He'd only been with the team a short time. My Dad
bought me a pennant, a scorebook and a hot dog. We spent
many more days after that at Tiger Stadium. A boy
couldn't have asked for a better place to learn, love and
appreciate the game of baseball,
than "The Corner". I
have a piece of her, and many memories. Today would
have been my Dad's 81st Birthday. So, I went to the
Tiger Game
(Via Fox Sports on my satellite) The Tigs
lost, but that's okay. And even though they don't play
at "The Corner anymore, Tiger Stadium still
lives
on. At Home Plate, and in the heart of this Tiger
Fan.

Sincerely

Robert Howe
today I stood at the corner of Michigan and
Trumbull and stood silently waiting for a new era of
detroit sports history. oh well to bad they werent
selling tickets there tommorow I will proudly walk into
the gates and to the reason the ol ball park is gone.
bless the corner 4 ever. I remember on Spetember 27
listening to Ernie Harwell, seeing the flag passed, the
flag taken down. I remember the old fireworks on
fridays. the laser shows in 94 that noone remembers.
Listenin to DRQ today it upset me about Comerica. I am
happy they moved still the corner was old and our team
needed a new home
I remember that September 27,1999 in section 202.
I was there watching the flag passed. Now Tommorow
the tigers enter a new era at Comerica Park. I dont
want to go but ill be there to see the tigers play and
to see why Tiger Stadium was abandoned
