Hello all,<br><br> I've been waiting oh so
patiently for the smell of leather and the fresh crack of
the bat at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland this
year. It's so wonderful that the spoiled little brat
from Texas is gone to our hated rivals down south.
Hopefully they will get know the Gonzo we all know and love
to hate. This fan never had any respect for Gonzo.
We'd have been better off without him and most likely
still have Gabe roaming around in the outfield making
spectacular plays and hitting a consistant .320+ .Ah yes to
almost have to deal with Gonzo another multitude of
years crying and wyning and playing dead all season
long would have been to much to handle. This town
likes players who have a great work ethic and who like
to show respect. Yes, we all miss the days of Lou
and Tramm, Lance and Jack, Gibby and Chet, and don't
forget the old timers like Kaline and Cash, Mickey and
the Bird whom I had the chance to grow up with. Those
days will return. Not right now but soon. Have faith.
I went 16 years between Championships and we had
some lean years then just as we have now. I believe, I
believe that our Championship is just over the horizon.
So all I have to say in parting is...
