Nothing will discourage a pittbull. Certainly not a whip. Any other dog, yes
maybe, but a pittbull would not even notice the whip hitting him, he is the
ultimate fighting machine with over 1000 lbs of jaw pressure, and he feels no
pain, your whip would
be no use, you would be torn to pieces.

Hi Dalmo and Roy...

OK, this is interesting stuff, but "thrower" isn't a knife-fighting list,
so lets stop the thread here (you two can take it off the list of course
if you like) unless you can get some throwing in...

Lee once killed a coyote with a thrown knife (very short range, the coyote
had dug into a cage with one of Lee's dogs), and of course shepards have
kept wolves at bay protecting their sheep using slings for thousands of
years... But if you don't throw the weapon, it isn't for thrower, though I
do make exception for whips since these are cast which is much like
throwing :-) As I think of it, a whip would probably discourage a dog from
attacking if you had time to deploy it...

Hi, Roy, one more talk. I've fighted with dogs more than once, and I prefer a dog than a man, its smaller, and more previsible. A man have a mind of his own, a...
