Well folks after a lengthy flight back from Montana I finally made it home
late last night from Calamity's throw up their.
I will have to download and pick out some pic's but rest assured I have a
ton of them along with some new things I picked up in the way of the MT.
language, Steve & Janie Vogt were absolutely fantastic host's and Sue and I
wanted for nothing while we were their for 2 weeks!!!
The seminar I put on and the throw were a great success I thought and I
will put out another post as soon as I sift through all the emails that
result in not having your computer with you.
As for Alamo and SASS I am glad to hear that there is such a potential to
bring so many new throwers on board and I know that I briefly spoke with
Alamo from MT. and he sounded pretty tired from all the teaching (not really
anything new for him) but the road will take it out of you!!!
I also will miss seeing Joe Bowman ever perform again as he was one of
the greats in the true western arts style, how fortunate Mike and Dan were to
have spent the last day's with him doing what they all love to do!!!
As for the NJ. Throw as near as I can recall Ed and Vickie did an
awesome job (as per usual) I'm just sorry I had to miss it even though I was
there at the beginning of it, I'm just glad Ed escaped what could have been a
much more serious injury than he did and will live to throw another day!!!
It sounds like we are all doing what we can to perpetuate this great
sport/art of our's and I'll have a lot to tell about the 2 fantastic weeks of
throwing among other things up in Montana.
