Apparently, according to this morning's Washington Times, the relocation
committee informally recommended DC, although DuPuy says that everyone
remains alive. He and Bud are reportedly meeting extensively with Angelos
(presumably to negotiate Peter's payoff.)

Tonight, according to the Times, DC officials will be meeting to advance the
ballpark plan.

Things lok to be falling into place, although with MLB, you never can be
sure. They have played games and stretched this out so much that, to quote
Yogi Berra, it's never over until it's over.

With the Navy Yard site now apparently the choice for the new ballpark,
wouldn't Old Navy be a fitting corporate sponsor? Then the park could be
Old Navy Yard.
