You know, at this point ther would be a certain poetic justice if we had
just one more week to wait. A week from today (which happens to be the day
after the Expos' last home game as well as THAT anniversary) would be just
about the perfect day to announce it. This serve to put a certain symmetry
and closure on the whole process.
Of course, if they want to do it today, I'm not objecting. It's just that a
week from today -- September 30 -- appeals to my sense of poetic justice.
