i just saw the movie "61" and it peaked my interest in a game i saw
between the nats and yankees circa 1968.
seems to me mantle struck out 3 times and roy white hit 2 homers.
i still can see that number 7 limping to home plate,but it was my
biggest childhood thrill.
anyone else out there see this game? or does anyone have more info?
