Folks,

I hope I don't come across as being morbid, however with the mention of
the deaths of Eddie Brinkman and Sid Hudson, 2008 has not been a good
year for our surviving Senators. Other deaths that I'm aware of this
year include Bert Shepard in June, Chuck Stobbs in July and Mickey
Vernon in September.

When one considers the fact that it's been 48 years since the original
Senators left for the Land Of 10,000 Lakes and the expansion team
headed to Texas 37 years ago, our former heroes of the diamond are
getting up in age.

I don't know if anyone has compiled a comprehensive list of living
former Senators but if anyone has any leads I'd be most appreciative.
