Andy, the Post did a great obit for Eddie, two columns worth. Joe Holley, the
Post writer did a great job and emphasized his fielding ability. He reminded us
that Eddie was a pitcher on his school team that featured none other than Pete
Rose. I am sure you can get from the Post. I think it was in the Nov.1 issue.

I just read that Ed Brinkman died at age 66. Haven't read an obituary
yet, but I hope they note what a GREAT fielder he was , and how much he
improved as hitter under Teddy Ballgame. RIP, Eddie. A lot of Nats'
memories!
