Ok everyone, put your thinking caps on.

What SS, known for his wild arm, overthrew 1B in pre-game warmups and
killed a fan?

I am guessing this is pre-1900 but am not sure. I read something that
said a SS had done this and was wondering who it was.

All help is greatly appreciated.
